Data Analyst – 12-month contract (Hybrid, Dublin)

About the role

We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role is based in Dublin with a hybrid schedule – one week on‑site followed by three weeks remote. You will work on day‑to‑day data quality tasks while also contributing to analytical projects and automation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve data quality, performing regular monitoring and root‑cause analysis.
• Produce accurate data extracts and visualisations for business stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process improvements, including automation and AI‑driven anomaly detection.
• Collaborate with technology and business partners to resolve data issues and support project delivery.
• Contribute to the evolution of data management practices and tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in financial services or a data‑rich environment; recent graduates with relevant internships are also considered.
• Strong investigative mindset with the ability to understand complex data problems quickly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Python or R for data analysis and scripting.
• Power BI (or similar) for building dashboards and reports.
• Familiarity with data vendor products such as Bloomberg and Reuters.

What we offer

• Daily rate of €200‑€250.
• 12‑month fixed‑term contract.
