Data Engineer – Microsoft Fabric

About the role

We are looking for a Data Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Azure to join a global client’s Group Applications team. The role will focus on centralising enterprise data, building trusted reporting, and enabling data‑driven decision making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable ETL and data integration pipelines across multiple business systems.
• Build and optimise data models, data warehouses and reporting datasets to support analytics and BI initiatives.
• Create impactful Power BI dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver data‑driven solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise data processing workflows to ensure performance, reliability and data quality.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation covering data models, integration processes and solution architecture.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Strong background with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric, including modern data architecture principles.
• Proven expertise in ETL development, data modelling, SQL and data warehousing.
• Advanced experience building Power BI solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
