Developer Experience (DX) Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Developer Experience (DX) Engineer to join a fast‑growing, remote‑first technology team in Ireland. You will help shape the way developers interact with our open‑source SDKs, APIs and tooling, ensuring high‑quality workflows and reliable integrations for a global community.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to open‑source packages, client libraries, CLI tools and integration frameworks.
• Review, triage and resolve public issues, pull requests and community questions.
• Coordinate with internal maintainers and engineering teams to keep SDKs consistent and scalable.
• Participate in code reviews and support unit, integration and end‑to‑end testing.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, automation processes and package release practices.
• Create and maintain clear, developer‑friendly documentation for SDKs, APIs and integration workflows.
• Engage with the open‑source community through GitHub discussions, technical support and advocacy initiatives.
• Promote major releases, feature updates and tooling improvements across internal and external audiences.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a JavaScript or TypeScript developer.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven track record of contributing to or maintaining open‑source projects.
• Strong understanding of modern web development ecosystems.
