Econometrician - AI Trainer

About the role

DataAnnotation is looking for experienced quantitative professionals to help advance AI development. As an Econometrician‑AI Trainer you will evaluate AI‑generated quantitative analysis, solve technical problems, and provide feedback that shapes how AI systems reason about data and scientific questions. The role is fully remote and offers flexible scheduling.

Key responsibilities

• Assess AI‑generated quantitative work for technical accuracy and real‑world validity.
• Design and solve quantitative problems used to train and benchmark AI models, including forecasting, experimental analysis, optimization, and statistical inference.
• Write clear technical explanations and well‑documented analytical code.
• Provide actionable feedback that directly influences the next generation of AI models for quantitative reasoning.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in a quantitative role or research environment (e.g., data science, economics, finance, physics, biology, epidemiology, operations research).
• Comfort writing and reviewing analytical code end‑to‑end.
• Fluency in English with strong written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field is preferred.
