English & Humanities Teacher – Rosebud Campus (Term 3 2026)

About the role

Padua College is seeking a full‑time English and Humanities Teacher for its Rosebud Campus, commencing in Term 3 of 2026. The role is part of a thriving Catholic secondary school community that values character development, talent discovery, and spiritual growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess curriculum in English and Humanities for secondary students.
• Develop engaging, student‑centred lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
• Collaborate with Learning Leaders, Assistant Heads, Deputy Principals and the Vice Principal on curriculum implementation and pedagogical improvement.
• Provide pastoral care, support student wellbeing and contribute to discipline processes.
• Participate in whole‑school initiatives, professional development and community activities.

Required profile

• Qualified secondary teacher with appropriate accreditation and experience in English and/or Humanities.
• Commitment to Catholic values and the Padua College mission.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated ability to foster inclusive, respectful learning environments.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the Australian Curriculum for English and Humanities.
• Ability to design and assess engaging lessons.
• Proficiency with school ICT platforms, including learning management systems.
