Finance Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Administrator to join Ferrero’s Cork finance team. The role focuses on managing fixed assets, inventory, and transfer‑pricing activities while supporting departmental budgeting and forecasting. You will ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards such as GAAP/IFRS.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register, including additions, transfers, disposals, impairments and conduct periodic physical audits.
• Monitor and reconcile inventory across all storage locations, perform cycle counts and full stock takes, and investigate variances.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close activities related to fixed assets and inventory, preparing reconciliations and reports.
• Collaborate with department leads to track actuals, forecasts and budgets, and provide cost insights.
• Assist internal and external auditors by supplying documentation and explanations.
• Contribute to transfer‑pricing calculations using approved production plans and SAP cost models.
• Provide ad‑hoc finance support to the broader finance team as required.

Required profile

• Relevant third‑level qualification in finance, accounting or a related field.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities with high attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn, share best practices and work collaboratively.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP for asset and inventory management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
