Director of Finance

About the role

The Director of Finance will lead a high‑performing finance function that supports rapid global growth. Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you will have the autonomy to introduce new technologies and improve processes across multiple geographies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multi‑disciplinary finance team across various functions.
• Oversee record‑to‑report (R2R) processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements and balance‑sheet governance.
• Partner with FP&A and regional teams to maintain consistent accounting policies, accurate P&L reporting, and robust project margin analysis.
• Own tax, statutory reporting, and audit coordination to ensure full compliance across jurisdictions.
• Optimize the Procure‑to‑Pay function, driving efficiency, controls, and data quality.
• Manage payroll operations across multiple countries, ensuring compliance and strong internal controls.
• Drive automation, digitalisation, and continuous process improvement to reduce manual effort and enhance scalability.
• Strengthen operational excellence through KPI/SLA frameworks, internal controls, and risk management.

Required profile

• Senior finance leader with extensive experience in complex, multi‑country environments.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and deliver scalable finance operations.
• Deep understanding of compliance, statutory reporting, tax, and internal controls.
• Track record of driving process improvement, automation, and operational transformation.

Required skills

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
