FP&A Analyst

About the role

The FP&A Analyst will join TrendAI’s Finance team to provide high‑quality financial planning, reporting and analytical insight for the European business. You will work closely with regional business partners, the Head of Finance and cross‑functional teams to ensure performance is well understood and planning processes are rigorous and forward‑looking.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budget process for assigned European entities or cost centres, consolidating inputs into a coherent financial plan.
• Produce and maintain rolling forecasts, flagging risks and opportunities to management.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business cases, investment appraisals and strategic planning.
• Respond to ad‑hoc analytical requests with well‑structured outputs.
• Perform variance analysis (actual vs. budget vs. forecast) and deliver clear narrative explanations.
• Own the month‑end accrual process, book high‑value accruals and review AP accruals.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑close analytical reviews of the P&L, identifying unusual cost movements.
• Represent European FP&A interests in the Finnovation ERP consolidation project.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with a proven ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Experience driving finance process improvements and automation.
• Comfort working with AI and automation tools as a regular habit.
• Ability to collaborate with business partners and influence cross‑functional teams.
• Understanding of European financial reporting and budgeting cycles.
