Full Stack Software Engineer

About the role

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to develop in‑house applications that deliver seamless and secure user experiences for the PlayStation brand.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, design and develop high‑performance, scalable RESTful API endpoints.
• Collaborate with Front‑End Engineers to build dynamic, responsive web applications.
• Define data models and database schemas, managing relational or NoSQL databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of application design, configuration and maintenance.
• Provide accurate timelines for assigned tasks and deliverables.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation and respond to production emergencies.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience working with medium to large code bases.
• Proven full‑stack development experience.
• Experience with Java, Go, or Python.
• Strong background in REST API design and implementation.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS and the JavaScript ecosystem, including frameworks such as React, Angular, Ember, Jest, Babel and TypeScript.
• Understanding of UI/UX design principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently.
