Global Sourcing & Supply Manager

About the role

Apple is looking for a Global Sourcing & Supply Manager to act as the critical link between product teams and component suppliers. Based at Apple’s EMEIA headquarters in Cork, you will shape sourcing strategies, drive negotiations and help secure long‑term supply continuity for key technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of the commodity landscape to forecast trends and assess competitive forces.
• Identify shifts in buyer and supplier power and leverage market dynamics to Apple’s advantage.
• Negotiate optimal terms with suppliers, balancing cost, volume and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, R&D and Global Supply Management to align sourcing decisions with product roadmaps.
• Optimize global supply chain performance through cost analysis, scenario planning and benchmarking.
• Apply knowledge of manufacturing processes, reverse logistics and market intelligence to influence product development.
• Assess and mitigate supply‑chain risks, managing disruptions in real time with an international team.
• Support programme management, improving processes, templates, escalation procedures and reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in global sourcing, supply chain management or a related field with a track record of managing complex supplier relationships.
• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities, critical thinking and the capacity to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills with tenacity, strategic insight and passion.
