General Operative

About the role

Wilsons Auctions is seeking two motivated General Operatives to join its Dublin branch. You will support the daily flow of assets through the auction process, interacting with the public and ensuring the auction hall runs smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Enter asset details into the auction management system.
• Answer general enquiries from visitors and clients.
• Perform general administrative tasks and maintain accurate records.
• Photograph assets for catalogue listings.
• Process assets for upcoming auctions, including tagging and labeling.
• Handle general disposal of unsold items.
• Maintain and upkeep the auction hall and surrounding areas.

Required profile

• Clean, valid driving licence held for at least 3 years.
• Well‑organised with strong attention to detail.
• Good level of IT literacy.
• Hands‑on approach and ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to meet deadlines and adapt working hours.
• Previous experience in a warehousing or similar environment.
