Graduate Internal Auditor – Remote (Ireland & NI)

About the role

This graduate position joins a multi‑billion‑euro commercial group as an Internal Audit Associate. Based remotely anywhere in Ireland or Northern Ireland, you will report to the Group Head of Audit and travel across the UK, Ireland, Europe and occasionally Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report on financial, controls‑based and operational internal audits as part of the annual audit plan.
• Identify, analyse and communicate risk findings to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support special investigations and forensic assignments when required by the Audit Committee.
• Travel to audit sites and maintain a valid driving licence for field work.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a degree in finance, accounting, business or a related field (no prior audit experience required).
• Strong analytical mindset and willingness to develop audit expertise.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a small audit team.
• Valid driving licence for travel purposes.

Required skills

What we offer

• Starting salary €32,000, rising to €33,000 after six months.
• Graduate programme with mentoring, study leave and full funding for ACCA, CIMA or CIA qualifications.
• €500 pay rise per passed exam, up to €7,500.
• Clear career progression to senior finance or internal audit roles, with potential international placement and salaries from €40,000 onward.
