Group Internal Auditor

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Group Internal Auditor to join a market‑leading manufacturing business with global operations. The role offers extensive travel and the chance to progress into broader finance positions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report on audits and reviews assigned by the Group Head of Internal Audit.
• Apply professional auditing principles to assess financial, IT, operational and risk‑management controls.
• Build strong relationships with Head Office and divisional teams to drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory agencies.
• Travel extensively (approximately 30 weeks per year) to subsidiaries across more than 225 locations worldwide.

Required profile

• Significant experience in external and/or internal audit, preferably within an international manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience in a Big 4 firm or public company.
• Strong familiarity with risk‑based auditing, IT General Controls and computer‑aided audit techniques.
• Highly motivated, proactive and able to work independently.
• Fully qualified professional (ACA, ACCA or CIA) is ideal.
