Health Care Assistant / Home Care Assistant – North Kerry

About the role

WHC HomeCare Services is looking for compassionate individuals to join our team as Health Care Assistants in North Kerry. You will help clients in Listowel and surrounding areas maintain independence and dignity by providing personal care and daily living support in their own homes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting assistance.
• Support clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and mobility.
• Travel to client homes, adhering to paid travel time and mileage policies.
• Follow individualized care plans and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the WHC team.

Required profile

• A caring and reliable nature.
• Full driving licence and access to a car.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to support personal care and daily living needs.
