About the role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Community Nurse to deliver high‑quality homecare services across the North Kerry area. The role involves working independently with clients, families, and care staff to ensure person‑centred care is provided safely in the home environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct client assessments and complete care reviews.
- Develop, update and monitor person‑centred care plans.
- Provide clinical guidance and support to care staff.
- Ensure accurate documentation, record keeping and compliance with HIQA and HSE standards.
- Liaise with clients, families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Monitor safeguarding, infection prevention and quality standards.
- Assist with staff induction, competency monitoring and ongoing support.
Required profile
- Registered Nurse qualification (RGN, RNID or RPN) with active NMBI registration.
- Minimum 5 years post‑registration nursing experience.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Full clean driver’s licence and own transport.
- Good IT and administrative abilities.
