Community Nurse – Homecare Services

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Community Nurse to deliver high‑quality homecare services across the North Kerry area. The role involves working independently with clients, families, and care staff to ensure person‑centred care is provided safely and comfortably in the home environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct client assessments and complete care reviews.
• Develop and update person‑centred care plans.
• Support and monitor the delivery of high‑quality homecare services.
• Provide clinical guidance and support to care staff as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records.
• Liaise with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor safeguarding, infection prevention, and quality standards.
• Assist with staff induction, support, and competency monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with HIQA standards, HSE guidelines, and company policies.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse qualification (RGN, RNID, or RPN) with active NMBI registration.
• Minimum of 5 years post‑registration nursing experience.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full clean driver’s licence and access to own transport.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
