About the role
Our Dublin‑based client is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join the team during a critical go‑live phase. The role will involve delivering both on‑site and remote support, ensuring a smooth rollout of new services and maintaining stable IT operations as the business scales.
Key responsibilities
- Provide on‑site and remote technical support throughout the go‑live period.
- Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot Windows environments, including Active Directory and Azure AD.
- Manage device provisioning, patching and software deployment using SCCM, Intune and Windows Autopatch.
- Act as the primary point of contact for incidents and service requests, ensuring rapid resolution with minimal impact.
- Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of systems, configurations and incident resolutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues.
- Support business continuity and disaster‑recovery processes.
- Automate routine tasks through PowerShell scripting.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support or operations.
- Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong communication skills to interact with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Microsoft certifications are a plus.
Required skills
- Microsoft Windows operating system.
- Active Directory and Azure AD.
- SCCM and Intune for endpoint management.
- Windows Autopatch.
- PowerShell scripting.
