Information Technology Support Engineer

About the role

Our client based in Dublin City Centre is looking for a permanent, fully onsite IT Support Engineer (Level 2) to join a growing team. The role will support and maintain a Microsoft‑based IT environment, providing advanced technical assistance to end‑users in a fast‑paced professional setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices and remote users.
• Support Microsoft 365 services including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Exchange Online.
• Administer Azure/Entra ID, Intune, MFA and user access management.
• Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, networking, VPN, printer and hardware issues.
• Assist with server support, Active Directory, patching and backups.
• Support cybersecurity, endpoint protection and compliance standards.
• Participate in IT projects, upgrades and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• IT qualification or equivalent experience; Microsoft certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows desktop support and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Intune/Endpoint Manager and Entra ID.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP).
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Experience in a legal or professional services environment is desirable.
