Investment Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Investment Analyst to join a growing Energy & Infrastructure team. This role offers the chance to work across a broad range of transactions in the energy, utilities, infrastructure and broader real assets sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain complex financial models and valuation analyses
• Conduct financial, commercial, and market analysis
• Assist with due diligence processes and transaction documentation
• Support risk assessment and mitigation analysis across live transactions and investment opportunities
• Analyse financial statements, operating metrics, and opportunities
• Coordinate with clients, lenders, investors, advisors, and other stakeholders throughout transaction processes
• Monitor sector trends and market developments within infrastructure and energy markets

Required profile

• Recently qualified ACA or CFA (or equivalent)
• Approximately 3-5 years’ experience within investment banking, corporate finance, transaction services, deal advisory or a commercial finance role
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
• Exposure to energy, renewables, utilities, or infrastructure sectors desirable
