Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (Healthcare Management)

About the role

We are seeking a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to join the Graduate School of Healthcare Management at RCSI. The role involves teaching, curriculum development and research in healthcare management, leadership and related fields, supporting a diverse cohort of postgraduate students.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver postgraduate modules and programmes in healthcare management, leadership, sustainability, quality and risk.
• Implement innovative teaching and learning approaches that engage and inspire students.
• Ensure all teaching activities meet the School’s quality standards and university regulations.
• Lead research initiatives, develop new research methodologies and contribute to funded projects.
• Collaborate with faculty and external partners to enhance the School’s academic reputation.

Required profile

• Doctorate or equivalent qualification in healthcare management, leadership, public health or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in teaching at postgraduate level, preferably in a graduate school setting.
• Strong record of scholarly research and publications in healthcare management or allied fields.
• Ability to secure and manage research funding from bodies such as HRB, Research Ireland or WHO.
