Machine Operative – Production Role in Ballyconnell

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operative to join our manufacturing team in Ballyconnell, Co Cavan. You will be responsible for operating and setting up machinery, maintaining high quality standards, and contributing to continuous improvement in a fast‑paced production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and set up machines across all factory areas, ensuring timely start‑ups.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and proper waste disposal.
• Follow work instructions, health & safety regulations, and quality guidelines.
• Record accurate production data and report any issues to shift coordinators.
• Participate actively in team initiatives to meet production targets.
• Communicate effectively with leaders and peers to ensure smooth workflow.
• Adapt to flexible working hours and undertake additional tasks as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Machine Operative (essential).
• Team‑player with a strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines.
• Customer‑focused attitude and ability to work on own initiative.
• Effective communication and good problem‑solving skills.
