Managing Counsel, Commercial - Partnerships

About the role

This senior commercial counsel role supports complex global partnership initiatives for a fast‑growing technology company. Working remotely, you will partner with sales, finance, product and go‑to‑market teams to structure, negotiate and advise on high‑impact partnership agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead drafting, review and negotiation of partnership agreements, including embedded services, reseller, referral and channel deals.
• Provide strategic legal guidance on commercial transactions and enterprise‑level SaaS agreements across international markets.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support business growth while mitigating legal and operational risks.
• Develop and maintain legal templates, negotiation playbooks and scalable contracting processes.
• Support regional commercial operations in EMEA by reviewing and negotiating sales agreements as needed.
• Advise on data‑protection considerations related to partnership structures.
• Deliver legal training and practical guidance to improve contract management and commercial decision‑making.
• Build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and act as a strategic legal advisor.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives within the legal function.

Required profile

• Qualified legal professional with substantial experience in commercial law, partnerships and technology‑related agreements.
• Proven expertise negotiating embedded services, reseller, referral and channel partnership agreements.
• Strong background supporting enterprise SaaS transactions and complex commercial negotiations.
• Excellent drafting skills with ability to create clear, scalable contractual frameworks.
• Solid understanding of GDPR and broader data‑protection principles.
