Mechanical Project Manager

About the role

The Mechanical Project Manager will lead the development and delivery of mechanical projects, overseeing organization, scheduling and implementation. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts, the role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Organise, schedule and implement mechanical projects from pre‑construction through commissioning and handover.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and industry experts to deliver cutting‑edge solutions.
• Manage project budgets and commercial contracts, ensuring profitability and adherence to P&L targets.
• Lead and develop a cross‑functional core team, fostering effective teamwork.
• Oversee combined mechanical/electrical projects where applicable.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience post‑qualification in mechanical or building services engineering.
• Relevant third‑level qualification in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
• Strong IT proficiency and familiarity with programme management, including CSA activities.
• Proven ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
• Experience managing medium to large‑scale building services projects; healthcare experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Residence within commuting distance of the Dublin site.
