About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Office Administrator to join our team at Cheshire Ireland in Shillelagh. The role involves providing comprehensive administrative support to the Office Manager and Executive Team while ensuring the smooth operation of the reception area and office facilities.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the reception area, answer incoming phone calls, handle emails and post.
- Provide general administrative support to the Office Manager and Executive Team.
- Oversee stationery, office supplies and equipment inventory.
- Set up training rooms for meetings, including organising refreshments and lunches.
- Book hotel accommodation and external meeting rooms for staff as required.
- Raise purchase orders using the PO software system.
- Occasional travel for work, requiring a valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an office administration role.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
- Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle for occasional travel.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to manage competing priorities.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Office 365, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience using Softworks and payroll software (advantageous).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
