About the role
We are seeking a friendly and reliable Pharmacy Healthcare Advisor to join our Blackpool pharmacy on a part‑time, weekend basis. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, managing the over‑the‑counter (OTC) counter and supporting shop‑floor sales while upholding our high standards of service and product knowledge.
Key responsibilities
- Assist customers at the OTC counter, providing product advice and recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, well‑merchandised shop floor and ensure displays are attractive.
- Monitor and replenish stock levels, performing regular stock rotation.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and follow company cash‑handling procedures.
- Deliver exceptional customer service in line with company policies and ethos.
Required profile
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with a diverse customer base.
- Strong organisational, prioritising and multi‑tasking abilities.
- Confidential, empathetic and customer‑focused attitude.
- Demonstrated work ethic and reliability, especially during weekend shifts.
Required skills
- Previous experience in a community pharmacy OTC environment (advantageous).
- Good product knowledge of health and beauty items.
- Cash handling and basic stock management skills.
