Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist

About the role

We are seeking a Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a supportive multidisciplinary team in beautiful Kilkenny, Ireland. The role offers a full‑time schedule (Monday‑Friday, 37 hours) with a competitive salary package and excellent professional growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialist psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment for children and adolescents.
• Lead and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to deliver integrated care.
• Participate in on‑call duties and respond to emergencies as required.

Required profile

• IMC Specialist Registration in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Valid driving licence and ability to drive as needed.
• Demonstrated leadership within an MDT environment.

What we offer

• Salary range €235,862 – €283,318 per year.
• Additional allowances up to €20,000.
• On‑call pay of €11,250.
