Procurement Officer – Dublin

About the role

Our Procurement Officers are essential to delivering value for money on multi‑million euro infrastructure projects. Based in Dublin, you will work within a high‑performing civil engineering team, supporting end‑to‑end procurement activities and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue tender enquiries to the supply chain.
• Complete tender comparisons for review by the Procurement Manager and commercial teams.
• Manage material order requisitions and raise purchase and subcontract order numbers.
• Attend subcontractor pre‑negotiation meetings and weekly project procurement meetings.
• Oversee the supply‑chain onboarding and SEQ approval process.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with commercial, operations, suppliers, subcontractors and the client.

Required profile

• Solid experience in procurement or supply‑chain roles within construction or infrastructure.
• Understanding of construction procurement processes and subcontract management.
• Experience supporting tender processes and procurement activities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Working towards or holding a professional procurement qualification (e.g., CIPS) is desirable.
