Production Administrator – Timber Manufacturing

About the role

The Production Administrator will support the day‑to‑day operation of a timber frame manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the role ensures accurate production administration, reporting and planning support, providing reliable operational data for decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and manage production administration systems, records and reporting processes.
• Produce timber usage projections and material usage reports.
• Support production planning and scheduling activities.
• Develop and improve administrative tools, templates and trackers.
• Analyse large volumes of operational data with high accuracy.
• Ensure data integrity and timely distribution of reports.
• Collaborate with multiple teams across the plant to streamline processes.

Required profile

• Previous experience in production administration, manufacturing or operations support.
• Experience in a timber, construction or similar manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Proven ability to handle large data sets accurately.
• Demonstrated skill in developing and improving administrative systems.
• Strong numerical and analytical capability.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and adapt to changing operational demands.
• Effective communication across teams.
