Maintenance Technician – Food Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a multi‑skilled Maintenance Technician to join a well‑established food production site in Rathowen. You will take ownership of plant reliability, performing both reactive and preventative maintenance on production lines and site utilities while supporting continuous improvement and high compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance on production machines.
• Support maintenance activities across site utilities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and EHS teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Required profile

• Electrical qualification.
• Experience within manufacturing or production environments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Required skills

• Electrical systems maintenance.
• Mechanical systems maintenance.
• Fault finding and troubleshooting.
• Use of a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Preventative and reactive maintenance techniques.
• Utilities maintenance.
• Understanding of HACCP compliance.
• Building Management System (BMS) knowledge.
