About the role
The Production Operator/Device Technician works within a production team to ensure manufacturing activities meet safety, regulatory, quality and organisational standards. The role involves preparing equipment, work areas and materials, and verifying readiness for a variety of processes and technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and operate moulding, manual and automated assembly, and pad‑printing equipment.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues that affect efficiency, safety or quality.
- Perform quality checks and achieve defined production targets.
- Supply materials to the line safely and on schedule.
- Label, pack and handle components and finished products accurately.
- Operate CMMs, advanced metrology, robotic and computer‑controlled systems.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and continuous‑improvement projects.
- Reset and adjust equipment to maintain consistent quality.
- Document activities in line with GMP and manufacturing standards.
- Assist with cross‑training and onboarding of new team members.
- Participate in programmes that improve quality, safety, environmental and production systems.
- Execute manufacturing documentation, commissioning and validation protocols.
- Work independently using initiative when required.
Required profile
- Leaving Certificate or equivalent, or relevant manufacturing experience.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to perform moderate manual handling while wearing appropriate PPE.
- High attention to detail and strong commitment to quality, safety and compliance.
- Full work rights at the time of application (no visa sponsorship).
