Production Planner

About the role

We are seeking a Production Planner to join a leading multinational organisation in Dublin. You will develop and maintain production schedules that align with customer demand, inventory targets and operational efficiency, working closely with manufacturing, procurement, logistics and customer operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage production schedules based on demand forecasts and capacity.
• Monitor inventory levels and material availability to minimise supply disruptions.
• Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, warehouse and logistics to ensure smooth production flow.
• Analyse demand trends and planning data to support business decisions.
• Track and report on key supply‑chain and production KPIs.
• Identify supply risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives across planning processes.
• Maintain accurate planning parameters and ERP data.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders across multiple international sites.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning, supply planning or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of supply‑chain and production planning processes.
• Excellent analytical, communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
