Production Team Lead - Night Shift

About the role

The Production Team Lead – Night Shift is responsible for coordinating production lines, driving performance, and developing team members during night operations. The role combines hands‑on manufacturing work with leadership duties, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Perform hands‑on manufacturing tasks (≈50% of time) while supervising the team.
• Own team performance across output, efficiency, yield, quality, safety, service and cost.
• Maintain Visual Factory systems and ensure GMP, SOP and EHS compliance.
• Train, onboard and develop new operators, technicians and engineers.
• Manage daily attendance, holidays, performance tracking and scheduling.
• Respond quickly to downtime, troubleshoot issues and support equipment changeovers.
• Monitor raw‑material availability, support production planning and communicate shipping updates.
• Lead continuous‑improvement (CIP) initiatives and root‑cause investigations.
• Control stock, improve inventory accuracy and reduce variances.
• Complete daily administration: labour tracking, material postings and documentation.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proactive, organised and able to work under night‑shift conditions.
• Strong leadership and team‑development skills.
