Project Manager – Energy Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex mechanical, electrical and energy infrastructure projects within industrial environments. The role oversees the full project lifecycle, ensuring safety, quality, timeliness and budget compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of multiple energy and decarbonisation projects across industrial facilities.
• Oversee all project phases – planning, procurement, installation, commissioning and handover.
• Ensure projects are executed on time, within scope and budget.
• Act as the primary liaison between EM3, clients, contractors, equipment vendors and internal engineering teams.
• Facilitate regular project meetings, progress reports and updates to senior stakeholders.
• Develop and manage detailed schedules and resource plans using MS Dynamics.
• Coordinate internal and external personnel across disciplines.
• Prepare project budgets, track costs, manage change orders and maintain financial control.
• Work with finance to monitor cash flow, invoicing and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards and client protocols.
• Lead quality assurance procedures, including commissioning validation.
• Identify project risks early, maintain risk registers and implement mitigation strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation – Gantt charts, meeting minutes, safety records and technical reports.
• Provide project dashboards and executive summaries for internal and client use.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering technical/engineering projects in industrial or utility‑scale settings.
• Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, multiple contractors and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems within industrial environments.
• Experience with energy efficiency, decarbonisation or utility infrastructure projects.
