QC Analyst – Ireland

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑driven QC Analyst to join a leading pharmaceutical organisation in Ireland. The role involves ensuring the quality, safety and regulatory compliance of raw materials, in‑process samples and finished products through rigorous laboratory testing.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and non‑routine analytical testing of raw materials, in‑process samples and finished products.
• Execute techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV/Vis spectroscopy and dissolution testing.
• Record and review test results in laboratory information systems (e.g., LIMS) and verify data integrity.
• Maintain compliance with GMP/GLP standards, SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Support out‑of‑specification (OOS) and deviation investigations, including root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot analytical issues and equipment failures; perform calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments.
• Assist with method development, validation and transfer activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and keep the laboratory audit‑ready.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science or Engineering.
• Experience working in a GMP‑regulated laboratory (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with HPLC.
• Hands‑on experience with GC.
• UV/Vis spectroscopy proficiency.
• Dissolution testing expertise.
• Familiarity with LIMS for data entry and review.
