About the role
Join ALS as a Receptionist and become the first point of contact for our customers. You will support the front‑office operations of a global scientific testing company, handling calls, documents and sample logistics while delivering excellent service.
Key responsibilities
- Answer incoming customer phone calls and route them to the appropriate department.
- Respond to customer queries, provide support, and issue certificates, invoices and other documents on request.
- Assist customers with sample submission, testing inquiries and payment processing, including issuing receipts and releasing testing certificates.
- Dispatch and receive testing kits, consumables and courier shipments; accept samples into the depot.
- Track submissions against payment history and maintain accurate records.
- Perform general reception duties and ad‑hoc tasks as required.
Required profile
- Professional phone manner and strong customer service orientation.
- Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced team environment.
- Full driver’s licence and willingness to learn.
- Interest or background in science is a plus, but not mandatory.
Required skills
- Proficient use of Microsoft Excel.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook.
