Relief Pharmacist

About the role

We are looking for a Relief Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team in Tipperary. This role provides essential coverage, ensuring patients receive safe and professional pharmacy services while supporting the regular staff.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the dispensary in line with PSI guidelines and pharmacy law.
• Deliver vaccinations, health screenings and patient counselling.
• Provide a safe, efficient and friendly dispensing service.
• Maintain accurate records and support the monthly claims process.
• Collaborate with GPs, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure timely and secure delivery of medicines to customers.

Required profile

• Hold a PSI‑approved pharmacy qualification.
• Be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.

Required skills

• Dispensing medicines according to legal standards.
• Administering vaccinations and conducting health screenings.
• Providing patient counselling and advice.
