Security and Safety Officer – Data Center

About the role

Join Securitas as a Security and Safety Officer in a critical data‑center environment. You will be the trusted presence that protects people, property and peace of mind while ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere for clients, employees and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Perform access control, CCTV monitoring, alarm response and control‑room operations in line with site policies.
• Conduct proactive patrols, inspect infrastructure and control access to sensitive and restricted areas.
• Respond immediately to incidents and emergencies such as fire alarms, security breaches and safety risks, following SOPs.
• Maintain safe and uninterrupted flow of personnel, contractors and vehicles while enforcing strict security protocols.
• Produce accurate incident reports, logs and operational records to meet compliance requirements.
• Identify, assess and report security threats, vulnerabilities and health‑and‑safety risks during patrols or monitoring.
• Manage access‑control systems, badge issuance, visitor management and key‑control processes.
• Support contractor management activities, including escorting vendors.

Required profile

• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and Sundays, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Strong sense of responsibility and vigilance in emergency situations.
• Excellent attention to detail for accurate reporting and compliance.
• Good communication skills to interact with staff, contractors and visitors.
