Security Operations Supervisor

About the role

The Security Operations Supervisor (SOS) leads the Data Centre Security Team, ensuring a safe and professional environment for clients, employees and visitors. You will supervise daily security activities, monitor performance, and act as the primary point of contact for operational reporting and incident management.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the Data Centre Security Team (DCST) and ensure all tasks are completed as directed by the Security Operations Manager.
• Monitor, review and record daily performance, identifying opportunities for operational improvement.
• Drive a strong security culture by setting standards for dress, conduct and professionalism.
• Provide regular shift updates, operational reports and incident escalations to the SOM.
• Ensure all security posts are manned according to global standards and provide relief when needed.
• Oversee adherence to Post Orders and manage documentation of shift handovers.
• Collaborate with the site Training Coordinator to address training needs.
• Report and manage incidents, emergencies and site issues in line with client standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising security personnel, preferably in a data‑centre or similar high‑security environment.
• Strong understanding of security operations, post orders and incident escalation procedures.
• Ability to lead by example, maintain high standards of conduct and foster team engagement.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting and coordination with management and training staff.
