Senior Android Developer – Lead Role (Day‑rate Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior/Lead Android Developer for a long‑term day‑rate contract with a leading fintech company in central Dublin. You will work on a high‑throughput, consumer‑facing Android application that is tightly integrated with a suite of enterprise systems, tackling complex technical and security challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain a large‑scale Android application for fintech consumers.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate the app with enterprise back‑ends.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and security standards are met.
• Provide technical guidance and thought leadership across the Android team.
• Define and improve tooling, deployment pipelines, and testing strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience building enterprise‑grade Android applications.
• Strong expertise in Kotlin and modern Android development practices.
• Ability to act as a subject‑matter expert on Android best practices.
• Experience in regulated or compliance‑focused industries is a plus.
