About the role
Respond, one of Ireland’s largest housing associations, is seeking a Senior Communications Officer to help realise its vision of high‑quality housing for all. The role will support the delivery of strategic communications and engagement activities for internal and external audiences.
Key responsibilities
- Support the implementation of Respond’s communications strategy across multiple organisational priorities.
- Collaborate with departments to create communications materials that align with strategic goals.
- Develop and manage high‑quality written, visual and digital content for various platforms.
- Assist in stakeholder communications and engagement initiatives.
- Monitor media, advocacy and current‑affairs developments relevant to the organisation.
- Coordinate video and multimedia content creation where appropriate.
Required profile
- Significant experience in communications, content creation and media monitoring.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments and with senior stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of strategic communications and reputation management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Salary range €44,427‑€57,494 per year, based on experience.
