Senior Director Analyst – Analytics & AI Governance (Remote)

About the role

Gartner is seeking a Senior Director Analyst to lead research and advisory services in Analytics and AI Governance. The role combines thought leadership, client engagement, and market insight to help organisations navigate complex analytics and AI challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Create high‑quality, actionable research on analytics, AI, data science, and related technologies.
• Identify client barriers, reframe thinking, and provide strategic advice.
• Cover topics such as Agentic analytics, Decision Intelligence, AI Engineering, Content Management, Analytics & BI, Data Science, and Machine Learning.
• Deliver presentations at Gartner events, conferences, webinars, and client briefings.
• Provide peer reviews, mentor team members, and support innovation discussions.
• Predict market developments, assist clients in vendor selection, and help vendors position themselves.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Graduate degree preferred).
• 12+ years of experience in Analytics & AI, with senior technical or leadership roles.
• Deep knowledge of CDAO, Head of Analytics, and AI responsibilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and engage clients effectively.
