Senior Director of Manufacturing Operations

About the role

The Senior Director of Manufacturing Operations will lead the Wexford site, ensuring safety, sustainability, cost efficiency, quality, and service excellence while fostering an engaged and inclusive workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Drive a zero‑injury safety culture and embed sustainability across the site.
• Develop and execute the site operations strategy in partnership with global functions.
• Set and monitor multi‑year roadmaps, metrics, and goals aligned with global objectives.
• Manage production schedules through effective material, equipment, and workforce planning.
• Own the Operations P&L, contribute to annual operating plans and budgeting.
• Lead new product introductions, upgrades, and site transfers to meet cost, quality, and schedule targets.
• Collaborate with Global Supply Chain and Procurement to optimise the supply network.
• Deploy Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
• Provide technical support to other sites and the broader contract manufacturing organisation.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience leading manufacturing operations in a complex, multi‑product environment.
• Proven track record of managing P&L and delivering financial targets.
• Strong background in safety, quality, sustainability, and employee engagement.
• Experience coordinating new product introductions and cross‑functional projects.
