Senior Field Support Engineer – Midlands

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Field Support Engineer to join a fast‑growing Managed Service Provider in the Midlands. You will travel to client sites, delivering high‑quality technical support while building strong relationships with a diverse SME client base.

Key responsibilities

• Provide senior‑level, hands‑on IT support across multiple client locations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on‑site.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365, Windows, Active Directory and Azure environments.
• Configure, maintain and optimise networking infrastructure, including routers, switches and firewalls.
• Act as the trusted technical point of contact for clients and coordinate escalations with internal teams.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in IT support or field engineering.
• Strong customer‑facing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time and workload effectively.
• Full clean driver’s licence.
• Based in or within easy reach of the Midlands.
