Senior Project Manager & Employer’s Representative (Remote)

About the role

The Senior Project Manager & Employer’s Representative will lead a high‑profile portfolio of capital development projects across Ireland. Based at home with regional travel, you will oversee civil and structural works from inception to final account, acting as the formal Employer’s Representative under Public Works Contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Public Works Contracts (PW‑CF1 to PW‑CF5) as the Employer’s Representative, including valuations, payments, and final account certification.
• Assess contractor claims for extensions of time and compensation events, managing budget contingencies and monthly financial reporting.
• Direct technical delivery of assets such as a 90 m footbridge, a €30 m sports campus, and extensive public‑realm upgrades.
• Oversee earthworks, road construction, utility diversions, and ensure compliance with building regulations, design specifications, and environmental impact assessments.
• Coordinate with county councils, design teams, and external stakeholders, leading multidisciplinary project teams and consultants.
• Ensure health and safety compliance on site, maintaining the Project Supervisor Construction Stage (PSCS) and compiling the Safety File.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience delivering civil and structural infrastructure projects of €20 m+ value.
• Proven knowledge of Irish Public Works Contracts and CWMF guidelines.
• Strong background in contract administration, financial oversight, and claims management.
• Ability to manage multi‑disciplinary teams and liaise with public authorities.
