About the role

Advancis is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its global security and building‑management solutions team. You will design, develop, and maintain high‑performance, scalable applications while mentoring junior developers and influencing architectural decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance software solutions that meet business objectives.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical implementations.
• Ensure applications are scalable, maintainable, and secure, following industry best practices.
• Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship, and promote knowledge sharing.
• Continuously improve development processes through automation, performance optimisation, and adoption of emerging technologies.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and stay up‑to‑date with new trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience, including at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Strong expertise in C# .NET development and modern web applications.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
