Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Our client, a leading financial services firm, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to drive complex technical initiatives and shape the architecture of scalable, secure, and high‑performance software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of end‑to‑end software solutions across backend, frontend, and cloud environments.
• Improve architecture for scalability, resilience, maintainability, and overall platform performance.
• Investigate critical incidents, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement preventative measures.
• Collaborate across product, design, QA, and operations to ensure successful feature delivery.
• Mentor engineers on coding standards, problem‑solving, and professional growth.
• Participate in technical design reviews and influence long‑term engineering decisions.
• Evaluate emerging tools and frameworks to boost delivery efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of software engineering experience, including senior or lead roles.
• Strong backend expertise with Python and frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Proven experience building APIs, data models, and distributed systems.
• Frontend experience with React and TypeScript.
• Hands‑on experience deploying cloud‑native or serverless applications on AWS.
• Track record of delivering CI/CD pipelines and supporting modern cloud infrastructure.
