Senior Tax Advisor

About the role

We are partnering with a leading client to recruit a Senior Chartered Tax Advisor who will shape the tax service offering and support business growth. The role involves preparing and reviewing a wide range of tax returns, providing tailored advice, and acting as the primary liaison with Revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit all tax filings (Corporation Tax, VAT, PAYE, Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax) accurately and on time.
• Maintain full compliance with tax reporting obligations and regulatory requirements, minimizing risk.
• Serve as the main point of contact for Revenue audits, managing queries, correspondence and audit processes.
• Deliver clear, practical tax advice across diverse business transactions and operational scenarios.
• Conduct tax research and support resolution of complex tax issues with detailed analysis.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes, assess their impact and advise the business accordingly.
• Improve internal tax processes, systems and reporting frameworks to ensure accuracy and transparency.

Required profile

• Fully qualified Chartered Tax Adviser (Irish Tax Institute) with at least 2 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong knowledge of Irish tax legislation, compliance and Revenue procedures.
• Ability to research technical issues and translate findings into practical guidance.
• Self‑motivated, well‑organized and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
• Additional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA) is an advantage.
