Service Technician – Crane & Hooklift Maintenance

About the role

Palfinger is seeking a motivated Service Technician to join its Oxie team. You will work with truck‑mounted cranes, forestry cranes and hooklifts, providing on‑site service, troubleshooting and repairs for customers across Sweden and abroad.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, servicing and repairs on cranes and hooklifts.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electronic issues and communicate findings to customers.
• Work both independently and within cross‑functional teams to resolve service requests.
• Document service activities and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in workshop and service operations.
• Solid knowledge of electronics, mechanics, hydraulics and diagnostic troubleshooting.
• Outgoing personality with a strong focus on customer service.
• Proficiency in English is desirable for communication with overseas factories.
