Site Agent – Construction Project Lead

About the role

Vision Built, a Sisk Company, is seeking an experienced Site Agent to lead the on‑site delivery of a large‑scale modular construction project in Cluny, Co. Sligo. You will manage day‑to‑day site operations, ensure safety and quality, and support the Senior Site Agent in achieving project objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily site activities to meet safety, efficiency and programme targets.
• Lead supervisory staff and mentor them to maintain high performance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Monitor progress against the project schedule and report weekly milestones.
• Coordinate site set‑up and prepare facilities before project launch.
• Manage subcontractor relationships and resolve issues affecting cost, safety or quality.
• Maintain site records such as Temporary Works Registers, daily diaries and HSE logs.
• Facilitate site meetings, briefings and whiteboard sessions to communicate priorities.
• Escalate risks to the Senior Site Agent or Senior Operations Manager for mitigation.
• Support commercial and project management teams to achieve cost‑effective delivery.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing medium to large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities, capable of supervising multi‑level site teams.
• Knowledge of industrial relations and subcontractor management.
• Ability to prioritise, make decisions under pressure and resolve operational challenges.
• Comprehensive understanding of construction methods, trade requirements and codes of practice.
• Proven experience in programme management and delivering projects on schedule.
