Project Manager – Major Construction Project

About the role

We are a leading main contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a high‑value commercial development in Cork. The role involves overseeing complex structural works, external envelope elements and full internal fit‑out through to handover.

Key responsibilities

• Full responsibility for project delivery from pre‑construction through to completion and handover
• Lead site teams, subcontractors and suppliers on a large‑scale build
• Manage programme, critical path activities and progress reporting
• Oversee health & safety compliance and site standards
• Control budget, cost reporting and commercial performance
• Coordinate with client, consultants and internal stakeholders
• Drive quality assurance and ensure successful project delivery

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Project Manager with a main contractor
• Strong background delivering large commercial, residential or industrial projects
• Excellent leadership, communication and coordination skills
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage programme and cost
• Ability to drive delivery in a fast‑paced site environment
